Kapampangan Dictionary 1.2

A mobile application showcasing the Kapampangan dictionary originally penned by Fray Diego Bergano. This app, available for free download, presents the complete contents of the 1732 Kapampangan dictionary translated into English by the late Fr. Venancio Samson. Initially put into print by the Center for Kapampangan Studies, the app has received a notable commendation from both the Manila Critics Circle and the National Book Development Board.

The objective behind digitizing this dictionary into an app format is to extend its accessibility to a wider audience and to revive interest in Kapampangan terminology and their English translations. The app also offers audio pronunciations for each term, their pre-Hispanic kulitan equivalents, and supplementary articles sourced from the Center's Singsing Magazine special edition dedicated to Bergano.
